ALTITUDE SICKNESS:
Any person traveling above 2500m can get easy symptoms of a mountain illness. The first signs are headache, increased fatigue, sleeplessness, appetite loss, liquid loss by an organism, and puffiness. At the emergence of such signs, it is necessary to remain at this height before the full acclimatization of an organism. It is necessary to use from 2nd to 4 liters of liquid a day. If symptoms don’t pass and the state worsens, it is necessary to go down immediately. Sometimes even 300m can play a crucial role. Planning the travel, leave spare days for acclimatization at heights 3700m and 4300m. After 4000m try not to rise more than 500m in one day. You can inadequately estimate the condition therefore always follow the advice of the accompanying guide or locals.
For “Mera Peak”, you travel from 1350M (Kathmandu) to a height altitude of 6,476m (21246 ft.) The best advice during the expedition, inform about your physical condition frequently.

There are two main routes to get to the Mera base Camp but whichever you take the approximate distance you travel from Lukla would be about 120+ Kilometers and 16-19 days. The short route which is Lukla-Zatr La Pass-Tasnag-Mera Basa Camp-High Camp and Summit is a short route but difficult one, while Lukla-Paiya-Thongnak-Khare-Base Camp-High Camp and Summit is a long route, it gives you a long time to get acclimatize against the altitude sickness also since this route is popular among travelers it has better trail condition, as well as better lodgings, compare to the short one.
WEATHER AND TEMPERATURE:
Weather conditions on the mountain are unpredictable. It might be sunny during the day and cold as well as windy at night, especially at high altitudes similarly the temperature can drop drastically at any time. Sudden rainstorms or snow flurries are always possibilities. No rain or snowfall days are vital for easy climbing. If it is not meet the condition, it will cause hard or impossible to climb.
