Terms and Conditions
Himalayan Shangri-La Treks Nepal
By booking a trip with Himalayan Shangri-La Treks, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
1. Booking & Payments

A minimum deposit of 25% of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking.

The remaining balance must be paid before the trip starts, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods.
2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing.

If canceled 30 days or more before departure: 80% refund of deposit.

If canceled 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund of deposit.

If canceled less than 15 days before departure or after trip has started: No refund.

No refunds for unused services due to late arrival, early departure, or personal reasons.
3. Trip Modifications & Delays

Himalayan Shangri-La Treks reserves the right to alter itineraries due to weather, political unrest, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control.

Delays due to flight cancellations, roadblocks, or illness are not the company’s responsibility.
4. Travel Insurance

All clients are required to have travel insurance that covers emergency evacuation, medical care, trip cancellation, and loss of property.

Proof of insurance may be requested before departure.
5. Health & Safety

Clients must notify us of any medical conditions or health concerns prior to booking.

The company is not liable for injuries, accidents, or illness during the trip. All participants travel at their own risk.
6. Visa & Documentation

It is the client’s responsibility to obtain valid passports, visas, and other required permits.

Himalayan Shangri-La Treks can assist with arrangements but is not responsible for entry denials.
7. Responsibility & Liability

We act as an agent for hotels, airlines, and other third-party services. We are not responsible for delays, injuries, or loss caused by these providers.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who may pose a threat to others or disrupt the trip.
8. Use of Images

Photos or videos taken during the trip may be used for promotional purposes. If you do not wish your image to be used, please inform us in writing.
9. Complaints

Any complaints must be communicated to the tour leader or office staff during the trip. Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 15 days of trip completion.
10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any legal disputes shall be resolved under Nepalese jurisdiction.
