Day 1
Arrival into Kathmandu (1,345 M / 4,413 FT)
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and some time to rest, visit the iconic Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. Situated on a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley, the stupa offers panoramic views of Kathmandu and the surrounding hills and is one of Nepal's most important Buddhist heritage sites. After sightseeing, return to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 2
Kathmandu-Paro-Thimphu (2,320 M / 7,612 FT)
After an early breakfast, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight to Paro, Bhutan. The flight takes approximately 1 to 1½ hours, depending on the operating schedule and conditions. On a clear day, you may enjoy spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks, including Mount Everest. Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, meet your Bhutanese guide and drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. The journey takes approximately 1½ hours, depending on road and traffic conditions. Upon arrival in Thimphu, visit the National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma Statue, and Tashichho Dzong, subject to opening hours and local conditions. Overnight: Hotel in Thimphu
Day 3
Thimphu-Dochu-la(Pass)–Thimphu (2,320 M / 7,612 FT)
After breakfast, continue exploring Thimphu and its surrounding areas. Visit Changangkha Lhakhang, one of the city's oldest temples, followed by the Motithang Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan's national animal, the takin. Continue to Dochula Pass, located at approximately 3,100 meters (10,170 feet). The pass is famous for its 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens and spectacular Himalayan views in clear weather. Spend some time exploring the area and enjoying the mountain scenery before returning to Thimphu. Day 4
Thimphu-Paro & Hike to Taktshang Monastery
After breakfast, drive from Thimphu to Paro, enjoying the scenic Himalayan landscape along the way. Continue to the trailhead for the famous hike to Taktshang Monastery, popularly known as Tiger's Nest. Perched dramatically on a cliffside above the Paro Valley, this sacred monastery is one of Bhutan's most iconic landmarks. The hike involves a substantial uphill and downhill walk through forested terrain and generally takes several hours, depending on walking pace, rest stops, and trail conditions. After completing the hike, return to Paro and check in at your hotel. If time and energy permit, visit a traditional Bhutanese farmhouse or explore Paro town and its local market. Day 5
Paro-Kathmandu and Kathmandu Heritage Sightseeing
After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. After a short break, continue sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, a historic royal palace complex featuring temples, courtyards, shrines, and traditional Newari architecture. Later, visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, renowned for its medieval architecture, temples, palaces, courtyards, and rich artistic heritage. Return to your hotel and enjoy your final evening in Nepal. Day 6
Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, check out from the hotel according to your flight schedule. Our representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight home. Your memorable Nepal and Bhutan journey concludes with wonderful experiences of Himalayan landscapes, Buddhist culture, ancient architecture, and traditional heritage.

What is Included
Transportation: Depending on the size of the group, an appropriate private vehicle will be arranged for all transfers and sightseeing included in the itinerary. Transportation in Nepal includes airport transfers between Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and the hotel, as well as transportation for the included Kathmandu sightseeing. Similar private transportation arrangements will be provided in Bhutan for airport transfers, sightseeing, and other services specified in the itinerary.
Accommodation: Two nights' accommodation in a 3-star category hotel in Kathmandu, two nights in a 3-star category hotel in Thimphu, and one night in a 3-star category hotel in Paro will be provided. Accommodation is based on two adults sharing a twin or double room. Hotel names are subject to availability and may be replaced by another property of the same or similar category.
Guide: A government-authorized, English-speaking guide is included for the sightseeing services in Nepal, and a certified local English-speaking guide will accompany you throughout the Bhutan portion of the journey. If a guide speaking another language is required, this must be requested in advance. Additional charges may apply depending on the language and availability of the guide.
Food and Beverages: Accommodation in Kathmandu will be provided on a BB (Bed and Breakfast) basis for two nights. In Bhutan, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included throughout the stay. Bottled drinking water will also be provided during sightseeing and travel in Bhutan.
Bhutan Visa Processing:
The Bhutan visa processing fee for eligible international visitors is included in the package based on the prevailing government rate. The current visa processing fee is USD 40 per person for most international visitors. Visa requirements, fees, concessions, and applicable procedures are subject to government regulations in effect at the time of travel.
Sustainable Development Fee (SDF):
The applicable Bhutan Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) for the included Bhutan stay is included in the package price based on the prevailing government rate and applicable concessions or exemptions. The current standard SDF for most international adult visitors is USD 100 per person per night. Any changes to the applicable SDF after booking confirmation may result in a corresponding adjustment to the package price.
Nepal Visa Assistance:
Assistance with the Nepal Tourist Visa process is included. However, the Nepal Tourist Visa fee itself is excluded from the package price and is payable by the traveler where applicable. Visa-on-arrival eligibility depends on nationality and current Nepal immigration regulations.
Entrance Fees: Entrance fees for the monuments, museums, and sightseeing attractions specifically included in the itinerary in Nepal and Bhutan are included in the package cost, subject to the applicable government rates and regulations.
Government Taxes: All applicable government taxes and service charges relating to the services included in the package in Nepal and Bhutan are included, based on the prevailing regulations at the time of booking.
Not Included
International and Regional Airfare: The Kathmandu–Paro–Kathmandu airfare is not included in the quoted package price. Airfare will be quoted separately based on the applicable airline, travel dates, booking class, fare conditions, and seat availability at the time of reservation.
International airfare required to arrive in Nepal and the onward or return airfare from Nepal after completion of the tour are also not included.
Nepal Tourist Visa: The Nepal Tourist Visa fee is not included in the package price. Eligible travelers may obtain a Nepal Tourist Visa on Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), subject to current immigration rules and nationality-specific requirements. Current standard tourist visa fees are USD 30 for 15 days, USD 50 for 30 days, and USD 125 for 90 days. Certain nationalities and categories may have different requirements or exemptions.
Travel Insurance: Travel, medical, trip cancellation or interruption, baggage, and emergency evacuation insurance are not included in the package price. Travelers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip interruption, cancellation, baggage loss, and emergency evacuation, as appropriate for their travel arrangements.
Personal Expenses: Personal expenses are not included in the package price. These include alcoholic and other beverages not specified in the package, laundry, telephone calls, shopping, room service, minibar expenses, snacks, and other incidental expenses.
Tips and Gratuities: Tips and gratuities for guides, drivers, hotel staff, and other service providers are not included in the package price. Gratuities are at the traveler's discretion.
Additional Expenses Due to Unforeseen Circumstances: Any additional expenses arising from flight delays or cancellations, roadblocks, adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, political disturbances, strikes, changes in government regulations, or other circumstances beyond the control of the tour operator are not included in the package price.
The agency will provide reasonable assistance whenever possible in such circumstances; however, any additional costs incurred will be payable by the traveler.
Price and Government Fee Changes: Any increase in government taxes, visa fees, Sustainable Development Fees (SDF), entrance fees, or other mandatory charges applicable to the included services after the quotation or booking confirmation has been issued may result in an adjustment to the package price. Any such additional amount will be payable by the traveler.
